Balrothery's Glebe Park takes shape with 200 new trees planted.

Wonderful to see the progress on our new local park, more than 200 trees have been planted including seventeen varieties of native Irish trees being planted around the park. A great collaboration from all those involved including Balrothery Tidy Towns, the Community Association and Fingal County Council. Engaging the children of Balrothery National School to research the various species of trees and the children will help prepare information signposts to help users and visitors of the park to identify each variety.

The scent of conifers is already quite noticeable as one walks along the banks.

More planting throughout Balrothery is planed and the playground is coming along at speed too.
